Frankie Sue Del Papa (born September 21, 1949) is an American attorney and politician in the U.S. state of Nevada; she is associated with the Democratic Party. Del Papa was the first woman elected as Secretary of State of Nevada (1986) and the first woman elected as Nevada Attorney General (1990, 1994, and 1998). In addition, Del Papa was the first woman elected student body president at the University of Nevada. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and graduated from the George Washington University Law School with a J.
